SYNOPSIS
Around a water scoop are ordered images of old, expressionistic films and archaic evolutionary motives. Inbetween, like a veil, are embeded chemical substances which were not washed out during the developing process. The narration dissolves more and more in the abstract metric of the materials. A collage of Found Footage material printed on 16mm was handprocessed and poured over with special chemicals. Between the abstract shapes of the substances appear images of nature elements and archaic human activities. -Jürgen Reble, 2019
Das Schöpfwerk est un film expérimental de Jürgen Reble, construit à partir de found footage, pellicules altérées par des procédés chimiques. L’image y devient matière vivante, traversée de textures organiques et de décompositions colorées. Sans narration, le film évoque la création et la transformation à l’état brut. C’est une œuvre sensorielle, entre abstraction visuelle et méditation sur le temps.
